Carrie Arnett

Howdy! My name is Mrs. Arnett and I welcome you all to 5th Grade.  I am honored to be teaching at Saint Thomas More this school year.  My family and I are originally from Texas, but LOVE the great state of Colorado.

I attended Texas A&M University, where I earned my B.A. in English, as well as my Teacher's Certification.  The summer of 2003 was a whirlwind!  I graduated, got married, moved to a new city, and started teaching, all in a three month span.  For 10 years I taught at the same school.  After my second child was born, I paused my teaching career to focus on raising my own children.  Soon, we found ourselves here in Colorado, attending Saint Thomas More.  My daughter started 2nd grade here, while my son went through the preschool program. This is now my second year teaching at STM.  My daughter is now an 8th grader and my son is starting 3rd grade.

I am here because I believe in the STM community, and I want to return the love and kindness given to my family over the years.  I look forward to working with all of my students and helping them grow in their faith and education.
