MANE EVENT FAQs

We know you will hear a lot about our yearly fundraising event, so we wanted to answer some basic questions you might have. 

 

Q: What is the Mane Event?

A: The Mane Event is our school’s only major fundraiser, which helps to make up some of the additional capital needed to fully fund the school’s annual operating budget, as tuition alone does not fully cover it. Proceeds from the Mane Event go directly to the operating budget at STM Catholic School, 80% of which is teacher salaries. 

 

Q: When and where is the Mane Event?

A: The Mane Event will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 5:00 pm at the Hilton Denver Inverness Hotel. One of the exciting news about this venue is that they will offer a courtesy room block with discounted rates if you choose to spend the night. Stay tuned for more info on how to make your reservation.

 

Q: What is the theme and attire for the evening?

A: This year’s theme is a throwback to the 1970’s! 70’s themed attire is strongly encouraged but not required. Dress up or down, expect to have a groovy time! The night features our silent auction, appetizers, and cocktails, followed by dinner and live auction presentation. End the night dancing away to live music from Jakarta! It will be a wonderful evening full of fun!

 

Q: How do I purchase tickets?

A: You can purchase tickets here or by scanning the QR code: 

Tickets are $125 per person, the last day to purchase tickets at the Early Bird discount is Monday, October 16, 2023! After this date each ticket will be $150 per person and the deadline to purchase will be Saturday, October 28th, 2023.

Tickets include appetizers, dinner, dessert, wine, beer and select spirits, a seat to watch the live auction, and plenty of community fellowship. Tickets are sold on an individual basis, or purchase a premium table that includes 10 tickets. Many sponsorship packages also include VIP tickets.

 

Q: What are the activities leading up to The Mane Event?
A: In order to get ready to get our groove on during the grand night, we have some events and activities a few months/weeks before. Expect to have Kick-Off Week and Bingo Night during September, Dining for Dollars at a local restaurant, Class Projects and Calendar Raffle Ticket sales. 

 

Q: How can I get involved?

A: Thank you for your willingness to help, this is a community effort and it cannot be done without the help of our amazing bunch! There are many ways to help whether it is by supporting the event financially, with your time, skills, prayers or all of the above! Some of the main ways to support are: Joining the Mane Event Committee, Becoming a Sponsor, scouting for Guardian Angels, asking for donations for the silent and live auction, donating auction items yourself, donating gift cards, volunteering to sell Calendar Raffle tickets at mass, the sky’s the limit.
