STM Catholic is the parish school of Saint Thomas More Catholic Parish in Centennial, Colorado, and a member school of the Archdiocese of Denver Catholic School system. As such, the School is governed by the policies and standards of the Archdiocesan Office of Catholic Schools, the goals and objectives of our pastor and parish community, and the educational management expertise of our school administration. The School’s principal is ultimately accountable to our pastor who, in turn, is accountable to the Archbishop of Denver.
The Archdiocesan Office of Catholic Schools serves to ensure a unified vision, programmatic consistency, and inter-school collaboration among all schools in the Archdiocese of Denver Catholic School system. STM Catholic benefits by gaining a clearly-defined vision for Catholic education, a well-proven curriculum framework, and an organization for enabling academic, athletic, and extra-curricular competition and interaction.
Our pastor and parish community provide insight and guidance related to the particular needs and expectations of our own parish families. The School’s parent community also contributes specific competencies not possessed by our priests and professional educators. Through the School Advisory Committee, they are able to offer expert advice in areas such as information and communications technology, finance and accounting, and marketing and public relations. Such contributions, though not directly impacting the classroom, have proven to be an invaluable component of STM Catholic’s success.
