Elizabeth (Liz) Peel

Position: 7^th English; 8^th English and literature

Education:

B.A in English from Furman University
M.A. in Secondary English Education with focus on American Literature from the University of South Florida

Teaching Experience: This is my10th year at STM and my 36^th year in the classroom overall. For the first seven years of my career, I taught high school in Florida, North Carolina, and then in Colorado. I moved to the middle school level when I lived in Baily, CO., and have loved every moment with this age group since!

Personal Interests: I love to read, exercise, and spend time with my family; I especially enjoy doing these things on a beach!

Fun Fact: I was born in England and lived there for most of my childhood.
