FRIDAY, MAY 22:

Even if you don’t have any materials to drop off, please follow the scheduled arrival times so I can say goodbye and give a special treat to my last class EVER. I will miss you all so much and would like to at least give an “Air Hug” as you drive through!

Dear Parents,

Easy, easy last week of instruction for all of us! Please do not send any completed work to me. It’s just fun math and completing our Unit 11, Lesson 3 reading. No spelling words either. That being said, here are today’s assignments!

MATH

Solve the math problems and then color the picture according to the color chart.

LANGUAGE ARTS

Please log into ConnectEd and go to Unit 11 Lesson 3, Day 4

Read: Core Decodable 111 – A Summer Home

Play: Unit 11, Lesson 3, eGames – Foundation Skills and Language Arts

WRITING: This week we are doing something a little different!

  • What things are on your “bucket list” for this summer? Please write down your list and share it with your family.
  • What do you like the most about summer? Please write down your ideas and share them with your family.

RELIGION

This week your child will understand that a parable is a short story that is told to teach a lesson.

Watch: On FORMED – “The Jesus Stories” – The Rich Fool

PICTURES

I love all the pictures! Please keep them coming!

MY HOURS

I am available for email communication ANYTIME!

JOKE OF THE DAY:

First graders (and Mrs. Cincilla) just love funny jokes and riddles! Give this one a try:

Question: What did the ocean say to the lifeguard?

Answer: Nothing, it just waved!

GOOD-BYE…

I’m so proud I

was your teacher.

I’ve watched you

learn and grow.

We worked so hard

and had such fun.

How fast the year did go!

We had so many special

times, but now it’s

time to part.

Just know that you

will always have a

special place within

my heart!
