Happy Monday, everyone! It is hard to believe that we are more than half way through Lent! With only 13 days left until Easter Sunday, it is important to remember the Lenten promises we have made this year. Remember that Jesus loves us all so much, unconditionally!!! If we falter from our promises, just start trying again the next day! Enjoy this last full week of school before Easter!

Stuff The Bus – Annual Diaper Drive for Gabriel House! STM Families we need YOU!
What: 5th Annual Stuff the Bus Diaper Drive Sponsored by BETA
When: All of Lent
Where: We will collect diapers (sizes 4, 5, 6 are most needed) in carline, bins located in the entrance to the school, preschool, RE office and the Church entrances.
AND: We will collect change/cash each week in our Fasting Friday’s baby bottles in each classroom. The grade who collects the most money during Lent will be awarded a prize. This is a GREAT way to incorporate Almsgiving into your young kids Lenten journey! Our first collection is this THURSDAY MARCH 7!
Why: STM Catholic School has collected over 220,000 diapers for needy families over the past 4 years during our diaper drive! Please help us achieve our goal of 50,000 this year!

Religion
This week we will be moving on to the Sacraments of Service of Communion: Holy Matrimony and Holy Orders. The students can anticipate a quiz on the Sacraments of Healing on Thursday, April 11th.

Math
We will wrap up our chapter on Ratios today and review the entire chapter so students are ready for their test tomorrow, Tuesday, April 9th. We will then move on to Chapter 8, Decimals, on Wednesday.

Science
The student’s Adopt-an-Element posters turned out great! These kiddos are so creative and really think out of the box! They are posted in the hall across from Mrs. Wolf’s room if you would like to see them! We have moved on to Chapter 12 and will be conducting a few labs this week that are all about physical and chemical changes. Students will have a vocabulary test on Tuesday, April 16th over the chapter 12 vocabulary words.

Social Studies
We are knee deep into chapter 6! We have had several wonderful conversations about the Constitution, Federalists, and Anti-Federalists! I’m really proud of their deep and critical thinking! Students are still scheduled to have their vocabulary test on Wednesday, April 10th.
