Happy Halloween!
Week at a Glance:
Math-We will be reviewing for our Chapter 4 math test, on bar models, scheduled for Wednesday.
Open Court-Phonics: We will be working on phonics strategies to include blending e, e_e; and vocabulary skills. Reading: “All About Earthquakes!”-cause and effect. Writing: set writer’s goals for informative texts and writing process to include diagram.
Religion-We will be learning about the members of the Church and how Jesus teaches us through the Seven Sacraments. Quiz on Friday.
Science-We will continue to work on our animal project.
Social Studies-Unit 4: (People Long Ago). We will learn about the concepts of past, present, and future; diagram parts of a family tree; discuss lifestyle of a Native American community; define colonies and settlers.

*Math Test-Chapter 4, Wednesday, October 31, 2018
*Halloween Party and Parade-Wednesday,October 31, 2018. Parade starts at 1:50 PM and the party will start between 2:00 and 2:15 PM in our classroom.
*Please send your child’s costume to school in a plastic bag.The children will change into their costumes after lunch.
*No Mass on Tuesday. There will be Mass on Thursday, November 1, 2018-All Saints Day.
