Dear Second Grade Families:

Welcome to Catholic Schools Week!

Monday: Circle of Prayer, Spirit Dress Day; Tuesday: Dress up day-your Sunday Best!; Wednesday: casual uniform and bake sale and service projects; Thursday: Decades Dress Day and Religion Bowl; Friday: NO SCHOOL!

A BIG thank you to everyone that helped with our field trip to the National Western Stock Show. We could have never done this without all of your help. We really appreciate your support!

Please remember to send the girls in with either tights or leggings to cover their legs in the elements.

We are asking for the students to try and remember their coats as we are entering the cold season. We try and go outside every day for recess if the temperature is 32 or above but sometimes we go out if the temperature is a few degrees below the 32 degree mark. If the temperature at 10:00 is 32 or below the students will need a heavier jacket for the day. If a student does not have an appropriate coat for the weather they will need to stay inside the office while we all go outside. We don’t want to leave any child behind from recess. Thank you for your cooperation and support.

We WILL be having a Spelling test this week on Thursday along with the Spelling homework due on Thursday as well. Thank you for all of your support on reviewing math facts daily! Please also continue to review telling time and money with reading and writing practice.
