**I hope you all enjoyed your weekend!

We will not have a Spelling test this Friday and no spelling homework this week. We will have a test in Math on Chapter 11 (Money), on Thursday. Please continue to review multiplication/division flash cards with your child as well as reviewing time and money. Thank you for support!

Please don’t forget that the students need to wear their Mass uniform both on Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday is our normal Mass day and Wednesday we will be taking class pictures.

We will dismiss at 11:30 this Friday for Spring Break. Have a wonderful Spring Break!

Week at a Glance:

Math-We will continue to work on money: coins, and bills; write money using the symbols for dollars and cents; compare different amounts of money; money supplements; as well as prepare for our test on money.

Open Court-we will continue to blend words and build oral language and fluency skills; sound: ow and ou; study suffixes: er, or, and ness; Read “United States Citizenship”; apply comprehensive strategies; Asking and Answering Questions and Making Connections; investigate comparisons and contrasts; cause and effects; characters; events in a story; understand the author’s purpose; recognize sequence of events; visualize and ask and answer questions; fact and opinion; word and sentence dictation; and continue daily work in journals; evaluate personal letters according to writer’s goals; analyze character as a response to literature; use a Tree Diagram to plan a character analysis.

Religion- Lesson 14: Continue to reinforce the Sacrament of Reconciliation; How do we receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation; review the Act of Contrition; start working on a reconciliation project; VIRTUE: RESPECT-ST. JEANNE JUGAN
